Dr. Sisodia's main clinical interest lies in improving the care and journey of women with gynecologic malignancy. In particular, her research is in understanding and balancing what is most important to the patient (quality of life, body function and image, reproductive outcomes and goals for their life) with what is medically and surgically required to cure their cancer or lengthen their life. A mother herself, a particular area of passion for Dr. Sisodia is utilizing the newest research and techniques to thoughtfully care for young women with gynecologic cancers who still desire to have children or build their families.

In addition to her clinical work, she is also a Medical Director for the Massachusetts General Physician Organization and the Medical Director for Patient Reported Outcomes at Mass General Brigham. Within these roles, she oversees Patient Reported Outcomes both at MGH and across the enterprise as well as various other physician led initiatives around surgical safety and specialty care. Dr. Sisodia is recognized as an international expert on the implementation of Patient Reported Outcome Programs. In her role at Mass General Brigham, she oversees the largest PROMS program in the world including 200+ clinics, over 100 different geographic locations, dozens of specialties and the collection of more than 8,000,000 patient reported outcomes. The ultimate goal of this work is to ensure that the patients voice is heard throughout their medical care and used to improve equity, humanity, and the best outcomes for our patients.
