About Lidia Maria Moura, MD, MPH, PhD

Dr. Moura is a neurologist, clinical informaticist, and health services researcher at Mass General Brigham (MGB), where he practices in the Epilepsy and Neurophysiology Division. She completed advanced training at MGB in general neurology, clinical epilepsy, and neurophysiology, and earned an MPH in Clinical Effectiveness as well as a PhD in Population Health Sciences from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and the Harvard Graduate School of Arts and Sciences. Dr. Moura holds joint academic appointments in Neurology at Harvard Medical School and in Epidemiology at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.

At MGB, Dr. Moura serves as Director of Population Health for the Department of Neurology, with academic activities that bridge clinical care, implementation science, and measurement. She advances value measurement and care redesign as Co-director and Founder of the Center for Value-Based Healthcare & Sciences (MGB Neurology), where she develops measurement frameworks and analytics for neurology program design and evaluation. In addition, as Co-director of the Center for Healthcare Intelligence, Dr. Moura leads digital and AI operations, having co-developed and evaluated clinically deployed, evidence-linked ambient documentation and message triage assistant programs.
