About Aaron Hoffman, DO, MPH

Dr. Hoffman has been serving as a primary care physician at the Ambulatory Practice of the Future since 2015. Prior to joining this practice, he was chief family medicine resident at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, Maine, where he completed his residency. He obtained his medical degree at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Philadelphia, PA, and has a Masters in Public Health with a focus on health economics and policy from the Dartmouth Institute for Health Policy and Clinical Practice in Hanover, NH. He studied ancient societies and biology at Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, NY. 

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Hoffman is highly engaged with medical student, physician assistant, and resident education. He also serves on the faculty of the Harvard Center for Primary Care, where he is working to support family medicine interest at Harvard Medical School, and is the Medical Director of the Physician Assistant Studies program at the MGH Institute of Health Professions. His clinical interests include women's reproductive health, family planning and contraception, and preventive care, as well as embracing a holistic approach to primary care.
