About Noelle Saillant, MD

Dr. Noelle Saillant is an acute care surgeon with expertise in trauma, emergency general surgery, and surgical critical care.  Dr. Saillant graduated medical school at Boston University School of Medicine and received her surgical training though Harvard  at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. She completed a two-year trauma and critical care fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Saillant's research interest is in translational research in trauma induced coagulopathy, platelet function and hemostasis. She is a decorated surgical educator and director of the surgical PCE at Massachusetts General Hospital. Her clinical interests are chest wall trauma, rib fixation, complex abdominal wall reconstruction.
