About Tiffiny Hron, MD

Dr. Tiffiny Hron is a laryngeal surgeon at the MGH Center for Laryngeal Surgery and Voice Rehabilitation. She received her B.S. in health administration and policy from Creighton University in 2002, M.A. in medical sciences from Boston University in 2004, and her M.D. from Boston University in 2008. She completed her internship in general surgery in 2009 and her residency in otolaryngology in 2013 both at the University of Connecticut. She completed her fellowship in laryngeal surgery at the MGH Center for Laryngeal Surgery and Voice Rehabilitation in 2014. She specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of laryngeal disease with emphasis in the care of the performing and professional voice, phonotraumatic vocal cord lesions, vocal fold paralysis, laryngeal stenosis, laryngeal cancer, spasmodic dysphonia, and recurrent respiratory papillomatosis. She is skilled in phonomicrosurgery, endolaryngeal laser procedures, vocal fold injections, and laryngeal framework procedures. Her current research interests include development of high-fidelity airway simulation models, one of which is a Botox simulator. She is a clinical instructor at Harvard Medical School.
