About Nasrien Ibrahim, MD

I am a board certified cardiologist in the Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Section within the Division of Cardiology at the Massachusetts General Hospital. I take care of patients with advanced heart failure, left ventricular assist devices, and heart transplants. I completed my internal medicine residency and general cardiology fellowship at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center in Cincinnati, OH. Next, I completed a fellowship in advanced heart failure and cardiac transplant at the University of Colorado in Denver, CO. Following that, I completed a fellowship in clinical research at the Massachusetts General Hospital. I am involved in several research studies in heart failure involving biomarkers and participate in several clinical trials all aimed at improving the management and outcomes of patients with heart failure.
