About Hillary Bush, PhD

Hillary Hurst Bush, PhD, is a licensed psychologist in Massachusetts. She specializes in the neuropsychological and psychological assessment of children, adolescents and young adults with learning, emotional, social and behavioral issues.

Dr. Bush, a Massachusetts native, earned a bachelor’s degree from Wellesley College and master’s and doctoral degrees in clinical psychology from the University of Massachusetts, Boston. She completed an autism-focused doctoral internship at the Indiana University School of Medicine. She completed postdoctoral training in pediatric neuropsychological and psychological assessment at MGH LEAP.

Dr. Bush’s research focuses on the experiences of children, adolescents and young adults with autism, including school adjustment, neuropsychological functioning, cultural identity, emotional well-being and sexuality. She has presented her research at regional and national conferences and has published in peer-reviewed journals including Sexuality and Disability, Child NeuropsychologyJournal of Applied School Psychology and The Journal of Genetic Psychology.
