About Flavia Fedeles, MD

Flavia Fedeles, MD, MS is a board-certified dermatologist and Instructor in Dermatology, Harvard Medical School.
 
She completed her undergraduate studies at Connecticut College, where she earned a BA degree summa cum laude in Biochemistry, Cell and Molecular Biology. She received her medical (MD) and MS degree in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Connecticut Medical School. She completed her Dermatology residency training at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University where she served as a chief resident. Afterwards, she practiced general dermatology at Lahey Clinic where she was involved with clinical dermatology teaching of Harvard Dermatology residents and Lahey Dermatology nurse practitioner fellows. She has recently completed fellowship training in dermatopathology at Tufts University School of Medicine.

Dr. Fedeles belongs to several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Dermatology, New England Dermatological Society and American Society of Dermatopathology. She is the co-author of several articles and book chapters and has presented several posters at national meetings.

In addition to general dermatology and skin cancer detection and treatment, Dr. Fedeles’ clinical interests include psoriasis, rheumatology-dermatology and connective tissue diseases.
