About Jonah Cohen, PhD

Jonah Cohen, Ph.D. is a clinical psychologist and an Associate Director at the Center for Anxiety and Traumatic Stress Disorders where he heads clinical innovation and clinical training. He also serves as the Assistant Director of Psychology Training at MGH. Dr. Cohen received his Ph.D. from Temple University and completed his predoctoral internship at Columbia University Medical Center. He went on to complete his fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania Health System. Dr. Cohen's clinical interests focus on psychotherapy integration. He has extensive experience in cognitive behavioral, mindfulness-based, dialectical behavioral, and psychodynamic psychotherapies.

Research

Dr. Cohen's research is focused on understanding the predictors and mechanisms of treatments in an effort to improve their outcomes. He is also interested in developing and then empirically evaluating novel interventions in clinical areas such as consultation psychiatry and acute psychiatric settings.
