About Yevgeniy Semenov, MD

Yevgeniy (“Eugene”) R. Semenov, MD, MA is a board-certified dermatologist and Instructor in Dermatology at Harvard Medical School with extensive experience in public health and health economics research.  He received his bachelor's, master’s in Applied Economics, and medical degrees from Johns Hopkins University. After graduating from medical school, Dr. Semenov pursued an internship in internal medicine at Mercy Medical Center in Baltimore, MD and residency training in Dermatology at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, MO.

Dr. Semenov’s clinical interests include cutaneous oncology with a focus on melanoma and cutaneous lymphoma. His research interests include epidemiology of melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancer with an emphasis on improving outcomes and treatment selection for patients with advanced disease.

He has published more than 30 papers, including in the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology, Journal of the American Medical Association Dermatology, British Journal of Dermatology, and multiple other clinical, public health, and health economics publications.

Dr. Semenov is fluent in English and Russian.   Dr. Semenov sees patients in both our Boston and Danvers locations.
