About Jahan Mohebali, MD, MPH
Born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah, Dr. Mohebali came to Boston for surgical training in 2010. He completed both his general surgery residency and vascular and endovascular fellowship at the Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School and was offered the opportunity to stay on as a faculty member in the Division of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery in 2019. During his training, he also completed a masters degree in Public Health with a concentration in quantitative methods at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
Dr. Mohebali's practice spans the full spectrum of Vascular disease, however, having been trained and mentored by leaders in open and endovascular aortic surgery, his passion lies in complex aortic disease. His interests include connective tissue disorders affecting the aorta, acute and chronic aortic dissection, and the open and endovascular repair of arch, descending thoracic, thoracoabdominal, suprarenal, juxtarenal, and infrarenal aortic aneurysms. To this end, his research has focused on the operative and long-term management of these clinical problems. Additionally, he serves as an assistant program director for residents in the department of general surgery.
