About Reza Zonozi, MD

Dr. Reza Zonozi is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School and attending physician in the nephrology division of the Department of Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital. He obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia. He attended medical school at the Georgetown University School of Medicine, where he was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha and graduated first in his class. He then completed his internship and internal medicine residency at The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, where we was awarded the Norman Anderson, M.D. Memorial Award - as voted by faculty and nursing in recognition of that member of the Osler medicine housestaff who has demonstrated outstanding, compassionate care in the ambulatory setting. He then completed his nephrology fellowship at the combined program of Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.  Following his training, Dr. Zonozi joined the faculty of Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital.  Dr. Zonozi’s primary clinical and research interest is improving the care of patients with vasculitis and glomerular diseases. Dr. Zonozi’s research has been published in several journals including Arthritis and Rheumatology, American Journal of Kidney Diseases, and Kidney International Reports.
