About Reza Zonozi, MD

Dr. Reza Zonozi obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia. He attended medical school at the Georgetown University School of Medicine, where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and graduated first in his class. He then completed his medical internship and internal medicine residency at The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, where we was awarded the Norman Anderson, M.D. Memorial Award - as voted by faculty and nursing in recognition of that member of the Osler medicine housestaff who has demonstrated outstanding, compassionate care in the ambulatory setting. He then completed his nephrology fellowship at the joint program of the Brigham and Women's Hospital and the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.  Following his training, Dr. Zonozi has joined the faculty of Harvard Medical School and became an attending physician in the Renal Unit at Massachusetts General Hospital.  Dr. Zonozi’s primary clinical and research interest is improving the care of patients with vasculitis and glomerular diseases. His research has been published in several journals including the American Journal of Kidney Disease, Arthritis and Rheumatology, and Kidney International Reports.
