Research
Dr. Vu’s research uses diagnostic imaging technology on aqueous outflow channels in order to identify areas of impaired drainage in glaucoma and improve visualization for surgical techniques that target the iridocorneal angle. He is also a collaborator in the Childhood Glaucoma Research Network, an international group of pediatric glaucoma specialists that focuses on improving the diagnosis and management of children with glaucoma through large multicenter studies. The goal of his research is to improve the long-term outcomes for patients with this blinding disease.
