Dr. Manganiello received his BS from Boston College, after which he spent time working for a volunteer teaching program in Los Angeles and as a research assistant at University of California Los Angeles.  He then graduated from Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine and went on to complete both his internship in general surgery and residency in urology at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center.  He pursued a fellowship in minimally invasive and robotic urologic surgery at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.  He has an interest in a wide variety of urologic conditions, both benign and malignant.  He also has a keen interest in surgical simulation and surgical education, especially in helping to train future urologic surgeons.
