About Adam Flaczyk, MBBCH, BAO

Adam Flaczyk, MBBCh, MSc, is an anesthesiologist in the Department of Anesthesia, Critical Care and Pain Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital. He completed his internship in internal medicine at the Mayo Clinic and his residency at Mass General. 

Dr. Flaczyk has an international research background in allergy and immunology research. His previous work at McGill University in Canada, the Paul-Ehrlich-Institute in Germany, and the University of Michigan in the United States focused on the innate immune mechanisms of immunity to allergens, fungi, and viruses.

At Mass General, he practices as part of the general surgery anesthesia team. As the co-director of the simulation sessions for clinical base year residents, he teaches residents in the operating room and in the simulation laboratory.
