About Maya Serhal, MD

Maya Serhal, MD, is an interventional cardiologist and vascular interventionalist at Massachusetts General Hospital and an Instructor at Harvard Medical School. She serves as the Associate Program Director of the Endovascular Fellowship Program. 

Dr. Serhal has a passion for caring for patients with pan vascular disease, including complex coronary artery disease. She loves to incorporate her prior training in non-invasive vascular assessment, medical management, and invasive therapeutic options.  

 Dr. Serhal completed her medical training at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. She went on to complete subspecialty training in Vascular Medicine at the Cleveland Clinic and remained on as staff for two years prior to seeking additional training. She went on to complete cardiology fellowship at Boston University. Given her interest in both interventions and vascular disease, she pursued a fellowship in Interventional Cardiology at Massachusetts General Hospital, followed by a dedicated year of peripheral interventional training at Massachusetts General Hospital.
