About Tolga Ozmen, MD
Dr. Tolga Ozmen graduated from Istanbul University, Istanbul Faculty of Medicine in 2007. He completed his initial general surgery training in 2013 at Marmara University School of Medicine, Istanbul, Turkey. After working for a few years at the same institution as a faculty member, he completed a fellowship in breast surgical oncology at the University of Miami, Miller School of Medicine (in 2018). He completed his second general surgery residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital/University of Miami, Miller School of Medicine in 2022.
Dr. Ozmen has conducted and published many award-winning breast cancer studies in well-known journals. He has worked as the associate editor for several breast cancer textbooks. He speaks nationally and internationally on breast cancer, and serves on relevant professional societies.

Research
Dr. Ozmen?s research interest has focused on breast cancer-related lymphedema. He conducted studies on innovative techniques used in prevention and detection of lymphedema after breast cancer surgery. Dr. Ozmen is also interested in researching the link between vitamins and cancer development and treatment.
