About Joshua Ng, MD
Dr. Joshua Ng-Kamstra is a surgeon in the Division of Trauma, Emergency Surgery, and Surgical Critical Care. After completing his medical degree at McGill University, he trained in general surgery at the University of Toronto and in critical care medicine at the University of Calgary. He completed the Paul Farmer Global Surgery Research Fellowship in 2015 and holds a Master of Public Health in Quantitative Methods from the Harvard TH Chan School of Public Health. He has practiced in the Canadian provinces of Alberta and Ontario, and most recently at The Queen’s Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawai’i. His research interests include optimal care for surgical patients who have comorbid addictions, complicated intra-abdominal infection, health care financing, and equity in the global provision of surgery and critical care.
