About Shangyun Zhou, PhD
Shangyun Zhou, PhD is a staff psychologist at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH), and an Instructor at Harvard Medical School (HMS). He completed both his clinical psychology internship and postdoctoral fellowship at MGH/HMS and received his Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the University at Albany, SUNY and his M.A. in Clinical Psychology from Columbia University. He provides integrative therapy at the Primary Care Psychiatry program, and provides CBT for OCD at the Center for OCD and Related Disorders (CORD). He is an integrative clinician who uses a range of clinical approaches (e.g., psychodynamic psychotherapy, CBT, DBT) to meet patients where they are at. He believes in the balance of "being" and "doing" in promoting individual healing and growth. He also conducts psychological evaluation for the Outpatient Treatment Evaluation Services (OTES), and Clinical Trials Network and Institute (CTNI).
