About Omari Young, MD
Dr. Omari J Young is board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OBGYN). He is an attending Obstetrician and Gynecologist at Massachusetts General Hospital. Her serves as Program Director for the Brigham and Women’s Hospital/Massachusetts General Hospital Integrated Residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Young completed residency at Brigham and Women’s Hospital/Massachusetts General Hospital (Boston, MA). He obtained his medical degree from Howard University College of Medicine (Washington, DC).
Dr. Young provides obstetric care for low and high-risk pregnancies. He also provides medical and surgical benign gynecologic care for common disorders including abnormal uterine bleeding, fibroids, and endometriosis. Dr. Young also provides family planning care for early pregnancy loss, medical abortion, and surgical abortion. Dr. Young is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) and Society for Academic Specialists in General Obstetrics and Gynecology (SASGOG) where he serves on the DEI Taskforce. He is passionate about mentoring and teaching across the full spectrum of medical education.
Outside of the clinical setting he enjoys running, travel, and spending with family/friends.
