About Alexandra Steverson, MD, MPH

Alexandra Steverson, MD/MPH, is a critical care cardiologist at the Corrigan Minehan Heart Center ICU at Mass General Hospital. She is also an Instructor at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Steverson received her medical degree from the Feinbery School of Medicine at the Northwestern University. She completed residency in internal medicine at the University of California San Francisco, cardiology fellowship at Stanford University Medical Center, and critical care fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital. Dr. Steverson specializes in cardiac intensive care, critical care echocardiography, and heart failure. Dr. Steverson's research interests include optimizing quality of care in the ICU and improving care of heart failure patients.

When Dr. Steverson is not at the hospital, she enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, and cooking.
