About Mohamed Soliman, MD, MBA, PhD

Dr. Soliman, MD, PhD, MBA, MSc, is a staff psychiatrist at Massachusetts General Hospital and faculty at Harvard Medical School.  He specializes in depression, bipolar spectrum disorders, anxiety, and trauma- and stress-related conditions, with a focus on treatment-resistant and diagnostically complex cases.  He follows an integrative treatment approach that combines medications with personalized therapy strategies to support recovery.

He completed his psychiatry residency at the University of Michigan and holds an MD and MBA from Cornell University, as well as a PhD in molecular genetics from the University of Toronto. He also completed a fellowship in psychoanalytic psychotherapy at the Michigan Psychoanalytic Institute.

Outside of clinical work, Dr. Soliman maintains a personal practice of meditation, strength training, and coaching, grounded in the same values he brings into patient care."
