Dr. Karnovsky is a sports medicine and primary care physician at Mass General Brigham and a clinical instructor of medicine at Harvard Medical School. She completed her residency in family medicine at Boston Medical Center, where she was chief resident. She completed a fellowship in primary care sports medicine at Harvard/Spaulding/MGB. Dr. Karnovsky is a primary care provider at the MGH Beacon Hill Primary Care Clinic. She values building strong, trusting relationships with her patients and is dedicated to keeping patients healthy through preventive care, chronic disease management, and guidance in navigating the healthcare system. In her role as a sports medicine physician, her clinical focus is on treating female athletes and injured runners as part of the MGB Women's Sports Medicine Program. She is also actively engaged in research aimed to advance the care of female athletes and runners, which she works on with her team at the Spaulding National Running Center.
