About Amanda Collins, PhD
Dr. Collins is an Assistant Professor at Harvard Medical School and a licensed clinical psychologist at Massachusetts General Hospital. She is also the Director of Digital Phenotyping and Therapeutics Research at the Depression Clinical and Research Program at Massachusetts General Hospital. Dr. Collins completed her PhD in Clinical Psychology at Mississippi State University and her clinical internship and fellowship at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center and Dartmouth College. Her research focuses on reward dysfunction as a transdiagnostic mechanism underlying the etiology and maintenance of psychopathology, including depression. Dr. Collins has two sub-areas of research: (1) application of advanced statistical methods to predict changes in psychopathology and (2) development and testing of in-person and digital interventions. She bridges these two lines of research to understand what interventions, focused on reward dysfunction, work best and for whom.
