About Andrew Song, MD

Dr. Andrew Song is a hematologist and clinical investigator at Mass General Brigham and an Instructor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School. His clinical and research interests span thrombosis and hemostasis within classical hematology. Dr. Song has a particular interest in antiphospholipid syndrome (APS), a rare multisystem autoimmune thrombotic disorder. He is the recipient of a Young Scholar Award from the APS ACTION international working group, receives funding from APS Foundation of America, and has been recognized with several American Society of Hematology distinctions, including Abstract Achievement Awards, the HONORS award, and selection for Clinical Research Training Institute. He serves as an Editorial Fellow for Blood, Early Career Reviewer for Journal of Thrombosis and Haemostasis, and Editorial Board member of Case Reports in Hematology.

Dr. Song received his medical degree from Harvard Medical School and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital. Dr. Song completed his hematology training in the combined Dana-Farber / Mass General Brigham fellowship training program.
