People with diabetes should have their eyes checked once a year for complications related to their disease. Chelsea HealthCare Center and Revere HealthCare Center make it easy for our patients with diabetes to get their eyes checked at the same place they receive their primary care.
Referrals: Patients must have a referral from their Primary Care Physician to make an appointment for an eye screening.
Referrals for Chelsea Health Center may be faxed to: 617-887-3704.
Cost: Most insurance covers this eye screening. However, it is the patient's responsibility to check with their insurance their insurance company to confirm coverage.
