About Leslie Aldrich, MPH
Leslie Aldrich is the Implementation Officer for Equity & Community Health. A staunch advocate for community engagement and partnering with others, since 1999 she has worked in various capacities alongside residents and stakeholders to problem solve and assess health needs, building strong, collaborative relationships with elected officials, community activists, policymakers and hospital and health center leaders.
In 2020, after serving as the executive director for Mass General’s Center for Community Health Improvement, Leslie took on a new role in the larger structure of Equity & Community Health, working to strategically align all community health work across the hospital, designing the infrastructure and support needed to carry out the larger ECH mission.
Leslie serves on multiple community and hospital task forces championing a collective approach to addressing the social determinants of health. She is a member of the Conference of Boston Teaching Hospitals, a unique collaboration of 13 Boston-area teaching hospitals seeking to leverage their collective impact on the communities they serve. She has presented locally and nationally for the American Hospital Association, Association of Academic Medical Centers, Association for Community Health Improvement and the Office of National Drug Control Policy on hospital community partnerships. Leslie received her master’s degree in Public Health from Boston University and her bachelor’s degree in Communications from Boston College. She lives outside Boston with her husband and two daughters.
