About Elizabeth Glennon, NP

Elizabeth joined the GI motility group in 2016. Her clinical practice includes a wide range of general, inflammatory, and functional GI disorders, with special interest in functional dyspepsia, gastroparesis, irritable bowel syndrome, pelvic floor dysfunction, and the brain-gut connection. She is especially passionate about lifestyle and dietary management of GI disorders whenever possible. She enjoys giving educational talks at the MGH Blum Patient and Family Learning Center, and feels strongly that patient understanding and empowerment are essential to the success of any treatment plan. She is a term lecturer at the MGH Institute of Health Professions, where she earned her Master's degree in Nursing. One of her future goals is to study health implications of climate change and be involved in solution-based responses. Aside from GI, Elizabeth spends much of her free time outside on the coast of Maine and in the White Mountains of New Hampshire with her family.
