About Jonathan Hausmann, MD

Jonathan S. Hausmann, MD, is a board-certified pediatric and adult rheumatologist at Boston Children’s Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital and Assistant Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School. 

Dr. Hausmann received his undergraduate degree from Amherst College and his medical degree from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine.  He completed his residency in Medicine-Pediatrics at Boston Children’s Hospital and Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Afterwards, he pursued combined fellowships in pediatric and adult rheumatology at Boston Children’s Hospital and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. He also received specialized training in medical education and health informatics.

Dr. Hausmann specializes in the care of adolescents and young adults with rheumatic diseases, as well as the evaluation and management of patients with unexplained recurrent fevers and autoinflammatory diseases.  Dr. Hausmann conducts research on autoinflammatory diseases and has participated in national and international guidelines for the management of these conditions.
