About Sharon Amos, RN, BSN

Sharon Amos is a Nurse Navigator for the Comprehensive Sickle Cell Disease Treatment Center at Massachusetts General Hospital.

She obtained her nursing degree at NYU and has has had extensive experience as an oncology nurse where she has served for many years at both Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center’s inpatient setting, and most recently here in the Mass General Cancer Center’s outpatient infusion unit as both a staff and triage RN.

Sharon is also a 500hr registered yoga instructor and teaches yoga, wellness, and meditation in her local Boston community, as well as here at Mass General to our sickle cell patient population.

Sharon takes great pride in her current role as Nurse Navigator for the Sickle Cell program as it is an honor to serve as advocate, caregiver, and ally to this historically underserved population of people in our communities.
