Ingredients

  • 1 apple
  • ½ cup oats
  • 1 tsp cinnamon, plus a little extra
  • ½ tbsp oil (coconut, canola, vegetable)
  • ½ tbsp maple syrup
  • Salt (dash)

Steps

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Mix the oats, oil, cinnamon, syrup, and a dash of salt. Spread evenly onto a parchment lined baking sheet so that it forms a single layer. Bake for 25-30 minutes until brown and fragrant.
  3. Dice the apple, sprinkle with extra cinnamon, and toss with the granola. Serve.
