    Caitlin’s story: One chromosome late to the party, but centralized care helps young woman be fearlessly present in life

    Around age 7, Caitlin Sullivan realized she was different. During a sleepover, she realized her friends did not need the nightly growth hormone injections that were so normal and routine to her. Caitlin has Turner syndrome, a genetic condition in which girls and women are missing part of or all the second sex chromosome, but she has never let it stop her from dreaming and living life in a big way.

    MGH Revere Pilots Therapeutic Food Pantry

    Not having enough food to eat and poor nutrition can contribute significantly to chronic medical conditions to such as hypertension, diabetes and obesity. MGH Revere HealthCare Center is taking on the issue by piloting its first therapeutic food pantry. Health center leadership, Revere Mayor Brian Arrigo, and community partners came together on Friday, February 7th, for a ribbon cutting ceremony to formally launch the effort.
