ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) and Mindfulness Meditation for Chronic Pain: Dr. Kurz (12-1pm)

Changing negative thoughts and pain sensations can seem impossible, but finding a way to function better and live a healthy life with pain is possible. Dr. Kurz will briefly outline an effective, evidence-based pain psychology treatment, incorporating concepts from mindfulness meditation, as well as offer helpful exercises to practice. FINER Program virtual workshops for chronic pain patients are accessible Fridays at 12:00 pm via Zoom.
