Climate Change and Health Series: An Overview of Heat-Related Illness in a Climate-Changing World
This session will offer an overview of heat-related illness in our climate-changing world. Join us to learn about the impact of extreme heat, risk factors, signs and symptoms, treatment options, and ways to prevent a heat-related illness. People at higher risk for heat-related illness including pregnant women, older adults, children, and people of color will also be discussed.
