Mental Health and the Congenital Heart Disease Patient and Doctor
Congenital heart disease is a lifelong disease known to be accompanied by periods of anxiety and depression. Over the past three years, the COVID pandemic has increased health-related anxiety across the globe. Resiliency strategies and behavioral health knowledge can significantly improve quality for patients and families. We will review several of these and leave time for discussion.
