Lymphedema is swelling caused by fluid that collects in tissue under the skin. In this Massachusetts General Hospital Blum Center presentation from March 28, 2022, clinical research coordinators with the Lymphedema Research Program at Mass General Radiation Oncology provide an overview of breast cancer-related lymphedema and how it is treated. They also discuss the Lymphedema Screening Program at Mass General and their current LymphVAX project related to COVID-19 vaccination after breast cancer treatment.
