Diverticulitis is a gastrointestinal condition when an irregular outpouching of your colon (large intestine) becomes inflamed or infected. It can cause abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, fever, and constipation. In this talk, we will review what diverticulitis is, what might cause it, and how we treat it.
This online program is free and open to Mass General staff, patients, and the general public. No registration needed.
