About Margaret Emmet, MS, LCGC
Margaret Emmet joined the Center for Cancer Risk Assessment in 2016 after graduating from Boston University with a Master’s degree in Genetic Counseling. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Villanova University and worked as an assistant in a family medical practice before beginning graduate school. As part of the CCRA, Ms. Emmet sees patients in both the Breast/Ovarian and GI Cancer Genetics clinics. Her research interests include access to genetic counseling services in rural and outreach settings. In addition, she currently serves as secretary to the New England Regional Genetics Group.
