About Judianne Henderson, NP

Judianne Henderson is a board-certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner who graduated with honors from Mass General Institute for Health Professions in 2005. She started her nursing career in 2002 as an inpatient oncology nurse at MGH specializing in BMT and medical oncology. She joined the Sarcoma Medical Team in 2005 as their nurse practitioner and has been with her team for the past 18 years.

She is originally from Long Island, NY and grew up in a large family, she is the youngest of seven kids. She graduated with honors from UMass Amherst in 1998 with a major in English and double minor in Biology and Psychology. After college, she worked at Harvard School of Public Health in the Department of Health and Human Rights and then at DFCI Radiology Department before pursuing her career as a nurse and nurse practitioner.

She is married, has two teenagers, and a mini goldendoodle. Her interests at work include supportive care for young adult patients, pain management, patient education, wound care, and survivorship. Out of work, she loves anything sports, crafting, reading, skiing, and traveling to as many sunny beaches as possible. She is her kids’ biggest fan and loves watching them play hockey and soccer.
