Research
My research interests include physical activity promotion and studying other health behaviors, chronic disease prevention, and understanding how physical space and design (the "built environment") affect and influence individual and population health. My research has involved large database studies, survey studies, as well as clinical studies. My work is multidisciplinary and seeks to foster collaboration among health researchers, design professionals, and technology specialists.
