Dr. Moran is an attending physician in the MGHfC Pediatric Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) Center. His research interests focus on the genetics of very early onset inflammatory bowel disease (VEO-IBD) and using genetic testing to better understand IBD and develop more targeted therapies for patients. He is an associate program director of the MGHfC Pediatric GI fellowship and is the co-director of the NASPGHAN Mentoring Program.

Christopher J. Moran, MD, is an attending physician who treats patients in the MassGeneral Hospital for Children Pediatric Gastroenterology & Nutrition unit and the MassGeneral Hospital for Children Pediatric Inflammatory Bowel Disease Center.
His research interests focus on the genetics of very early onset inflammatory bowel disease and using genetic testing to better understand inflammatory bowel disease and develop more targeted therapies for patients.
He is an associate director of the Pediatric GI Fellowship Program at MassGeneral Hospital for Children and is the co-director of the Fellow Mentoring Program of NASPGHAN.
He is also active in several organizations as a member of the New England Chapter Medical Advisory Board of the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation and a member of the Research Committee of NASPGHAN.

Dr. Moran is a pediatric gastroenterologist who practices clinically in the Pediatric Inflammatory Bowel Disease Programs at MassGeneral Hospital for Children and Newton Wellesley Hospital.
