Gillian Diercks, MD, MPH

Diercks earned her medical degree from the Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons and completed her residency in otolaryngology at Harvard Medical School. She also earned her MPH from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and completed a fellowship in Pediatric Otolaryngology at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary (MEEI). Diercks is board-certified in otolaryngology and head and neck surgery.

Diercks’s multidisciplinary approach to care helps her provide the best care possible to her patients. “My goal is to provide the type of care that I would want for my own daughter and family,” she said. “My approach involves collaboration with referring providers and other specialists when appropriate to provide the best care possible for what are sometimes complex problems."

Diercks will see patients at MEEI’s main campus and at Newton-Wellesley Hospital (NWH). For appointments and referrals to the main campus, please call 617-573-3190. For appointments and referrals at NWH, please call 617-630-1699.

Jill Comins, RN, MSN, CPNP

Jill Comins earned her master of science in Pediatric Nursing, Primary Care and Acute Care Nurse Practitioner from Northeastern University in 2014. She completed her clinical rotations at Holliston Pediatrics, Waltham Public High School, UMass Medical Center, and the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at MGfC.

“Through my patient care, I aim to create an environment that helps patients and families understand their condition and treatment options. I guide my practice with the understanding that each patient and family is unique, and together we can agree on a plan that is comfortable for everyone,” said Comins, who started at MEEI/MGfC in the spring of 2015 and worked in Pediatrics at MEEI for five years prior. “I also hope to allow patients more flexibility for scheduling appointments on a urgent or short-notice basis, such as follow-up care for an emergency visit. I can also help patients become established in our practice quicker, such as meeting with specialists the same day if needed.”

Comins will see patients on an urgent or semi-urgent basis at MEEI/MGfC. For appointments and referrals, please call 617-573-3190.
