What are the symptoms of spinal muscular atrophy (SMA)?
Symptoms depend on your child’s age and which type of SMA he has.
The most common symptoms of SMA are:
- Muscle weakness
- Delayed milestones (in babies)
- Trouble using certain muscles or limbs (in children, teens and adults)
