About James Bath, MD

Dr. James Bath is a board-certified family medicine physician. He earned his medical degree from the University of Massachusetts Medical School. He completed his Family Medicine Internship, Residency and Chief Residency at Tufts University. His training allows him to care for the whole patient and the whole family, from newborns to seniors. He provides comprehensive care, including well child visits, adult physical exams and wellness visits, same-day sick visits, sports injuries and minor surgical procedures. 

He has a particular interest in developmental pediatrics and providing primary care for children and adults with autism and other developmental disorders. He understands that patients on the spectrum have unique needs and offers compassion, flexibility and thorough care for each patient. He participates in educational seminars offered by the Lurie center that aim to help patients and families manage routine care and to transition from pediatric care to adult care.
