About Lauren M. Williams, MSPAS, PA-C

Lauren Williams, MSPAS, PA-C is a Physician Assistant in the Department of Pediatric General Surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital for Children. She grew up in upstate New York and attended Syracuse University, where she played lacrosse, studied biology and received her Bachelor of Science. Lauren worked as an emergency medicine technician during her undergraduate degree in preparation for PA school. She then attended Pace University in Manhattan for her Master’s of Physician Assistant Studies. She graduated with honors and received the prestigious Clinical Excellence award during her final year of school. She developed a love for pediatrics during school and knew she wanted to work with children. Lauren started her career in pediatric surgery as part of the team at Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital in New York City. She stayed there for three years before moving to Boston and joining the team here at MGfC. She is a vital member of the advance practice providers in pediatric surgery.
