About Stephanie Eisenstat, MD
Dr Stephanie Eisenstat is a practicing internist, certified coach and physician educator in the Department of Medicine, Division of Internal Medicine, Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) and Assistant Professor of Medicine, Harvard Medical School (HMS).
She is currently Director of group facilitation training for the MGH Healthy Lifestyle Program, a fellow at the Institute of Coaching, McLean, Hospital, Harvard Medical School, and a practicing physician in lifestyle medicine through the Lifestyle Medicine Program, Mass General Cancer Center. Building on over 30 years of experience as a practicing internist, her aim is to help patients along their cancer journey to achieve an optimal level of wellness, support, and improved outcomes. She has a specialty in women’s health medicine, chronic disease management and diabetes care, behavioral change, coaching and system design. She completed her internal medicine residency at Tufts-New England Medical Center. She is board certified in Internal Medicine. Since 2004, she has worked to expand the group medical visit model and team care more broadly. Currently she is helping colleagues to expand the PAVING the PATH to wellness program, a 12- week lifestyle medicine- based cancer survivorship program founded by Dr Amy Comander, Medical Director, Mass General Cancer Center, Breast Oncology Program, Newton Wellesley Hospital.
