About Elizabeth Temin, MD, MPH

Dr. Elizabeth S. Temin is an attending physician at the Massachusetts General Hospital Department of Emergency Medicine. She received her M.D from Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Temin completed her residency in emergency medicine at Boston Medical Center, followed by an EMS fellowship at Boston Emergency Medical Services (Boston EMS) and Boston Medical Center. She is also an Assistant Professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Harvard Medical School.

Dr. Elizabeth Temin created and directs the Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Assistants [PA] and Nurse Practitioners [NP]) program for the MGH ED. She is the Assistant Director of the MGH ED quality and safety committee and sits on multiple interdepartmental quality and safety committees.

Dr. Elizabeth Temin is the Director of Prehospital Care for MGH. She is a member of regional and state Emergency Medical Services (EMS) committees, where she has written the nation's first statewide inter-facility transport guideline. She is also the Medical Director for the Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital ALS Ambulance Service.
