North Shore Urgent Care provides immediate medical care for non-life-threatening conditions and injuries, such as sprains, minor cuts and bruises, coughs and sore throats. All patients are seen, regardless of whether they are current patients of the North Shore Physicians Group (NSPG).

Our board-certified urgent care medicine physicians are assisted by experienced physician assistants and nurse practitioners. If a referral is needed, our care team can coordinate with specialists at NSPGSalem Hospital, Massachusetts General Hospital, Brigham and Women's Hospital, as well as other world-class experts in the Mass General Brigham network.

Appointments are Required.

We treat a variety of urgent care needs:

  • Allergies and asthma
  • Bruises, small cuts and scratches, or minor burns
  • Cold or flu, cough or sore throat
  • Ear and eye infections
  • Minor fractures
  • Muscle cramps or spasms
  • Rashes or minor swelling
  • Severe headaches
  • Sore throat and sinus pain
  • Sprains and other muscle and joint strains
  • We also offer lab tests, X-rays, stitches and more.

Emergency Care

If you are experiencing a heart attack, stroke, chest pains or bleeding, please go directly to the nearest emergency room or call 911.

  • Accessibility:

    Parking

    The Mass General/North Shore Center for Outpatient Care has designated handicapped parking spaces and sidewalk ramps that are easily accessible to the center's main entrance.

    Wheelchairs

    Wheelchairs are available at the hospital's main entrance. Onsite greeters or the center's receptionist can help coordinate a wheelchair upon patient arrival. Patients can also request a wheelchair in advance of their visit by calling 978-882-6100. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do to make your visit more comfortable.

  • Public Transportation:

    MBTA buses 435 and 465 bring passengers near the center. Bus #435 travels from Central Square in Lynn to the Liberty Tree Mall in Danvers, and bus #465 travels from Danvers to Salem Depot via Peabody Square.

    Because bus routes can change, please call the MBTA at 800-392-6100 to confirm your schedule and drop-off and pick-up sites. The MBTA website has additional information, including maps and accessibility information.

  • Parking:

    The center offers ample free parking, including handicapped parking spaces. Look for onsite greeters, who provide parking assistance at the center's main entrance.

The Mass General/North Shore Center for Outpatient Care is located in Danvers, MA, near the Liberty Tree Mall, at 102-104 Endicott Street.

From the North, traveling 95 South down to Danvers:

  • When 95 and 128 split, merge onto 128 North
  • Take Exit 24, Endicott Street.
  • Go straight through the lights at the intersection into the parking lot of the Center for Outpatient Care.

From the South, traveling 95/128 North to Danvers:

  • When 95 and 128 split, merge onto 128 North
  • Take Exit 24, Endicott Street.
