Let’s make this year’s Valentine's Day special for the very special people who are a part of the MGH community — the doctors, nurses, researchers and the rest of the MGH family, including patients and their loved ones — who inspire us all with their strength.

We need your help to show them just how much love we have to share with patients in need — and the people at the MGH who help them. So take a minute to share the love and submit a virtual valentine today.

And when you do, your messages of support and thanks will be added to a Virtual Valentine Wall for the world to see.

If you're looking for some inspiration, consider some of the wonderful work that the MGH staff did last year:

--The MGH trauma team was honored by the Boston Police Department for the "exceptional care" they provided to two police officers who were wounded in an East Boston shooting in November.
--MGH researchers developed a non-invasive protocol that identifies older individuals who may be at increased risk of Alzheimer’s disease.
--MGH and the Massachusetts General Physicians Organization formed an Opioid Task Force to address the state’s deadly opioid epidemic.
--MGH staff deployed to Haiti to provide medical care in response to Hurricane Matthew.

The staff at the MGH did some pretty amazing things last year, working with communities to serve people in need both here and abroad. That’s what makes the hospital so special — the people we serve.

Celebrate the spirit of Valentine’s Day all month long by sharing your love for the MGH! Send a message of love to a colleague, family member, or friend who has been touched by the work we do here. Share your love today!

The MGH Fund supports the hospital's areas of greatest need. When you donate to the MGH Fund, your contribution helps us advance patient care initiatives, seed innovative biomedical research, expand our community and global health efforts, and educate the future leaders of medicine.
