Rosemond Valcimond, dental hygienist in the Massachusetts General Hospital Division of Dentistry and musician, was redeployed to the hospital’s Wang entrance to help in the employee attestation process as part of the hospital's COVID-19 response. During moments of downtime between employees, Valcimond delights visitors and staff by playing his ukulele. In this video from earlier this week, he performs an original song about the importance of proper handwashing and use of personal protective equipment to minimize the spread of the virus. Valcimond credits Mass General music therapist Lorrie Kubicek with teaching him how to play the ukulele.
